The Evanstones at The Tiny Ninja Cafe 11-16-13

The Evanstones are a great local surf band here in Seattle. They were tuning up and getting their sea-legs with their new band mates. They played a small cafe to get their juices start flowing.

The Evanstones are: Hal Columbo on lead guitar, Colin Nelson on Drums, Brian Christianson on rhythm/lead guitar and Ian Brewer on bass.

Hal had a sweet style and killer surf licks. They had some equipment problems early but over came them and played a great set.

Tiny cafe, small crowd, big sound. They will be playing at Aloha Baby! Cathie's Surf Spectacular at Darrells on December 6, 2013. It promises an amazing line-up featuring some of the top west coast surf bands.

This was a great peek into the fun that will be happening next month. Thanks to The Evanstones and The Tiny Ninja Cafe for a fun Saturday evening.
